The mission of Country Acres Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, socialize and place homeless, abused, and/or neglected dogs and cats in the metropolitan St. Louis area while focusing community attention on their plight.
East Tennessee Pit Bull Rescue is a developing rescue. We have evolved out of a desparate need to find a safe place for abandoned Pit Bulls in our area. We will be pursuing our non-profit status this summer. In the meantime, we still have some great loyal and loving Pits that need a safe place, medical care, and loving environments while they await their forever homes.
Carolina Care Bullies hopes to move toward decreasing the pit bull euthanasia rate in North Carolina shelters by dispelling myths and broadening the understanding of what the pit bull breed is really all about; offering support to owners of bully breeds; caring for deserving pit bulls in the loving homes of generous foster families; and placing pit bulls in responsible permanent homes.

The Atlanta Bully Rally is an annual event that focuses on educating pit bull owners and the general public about the issues surrounding these dogs. It takes place every October on Pit Bull Awareness Day. Our efforts to educate are primarily focused in Atlanta's inner city areas, and we also have a spay neuter fund established for owned pit bulls in need of sterilization surgery. We offer breed education and assistance year round, not only in October.
Our mission is to foster, rehabilitate, and re-home abused, neglected, and abandoned APBTs that are seized by Authorities or forfeited by their owners. In an effort to save as many of those pitbulls, who are scheduled for euthanization, as possible, we will work closely with surrounding Animal Control facilities. Further, we will make every attempt feasible to assist individuals who are painstakingly forced to surrender their pitbulls due to emergencies, changes in family structure, and financial instability.
The Buster Foundation is a 501(c )3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping re-home surrendered and stray pit bull and bully breed mixes. We are a group of individuals that have come to realize that the pit bull desperately needs a better educated and understanding public so that the misconceptions society has come to believe about them is finally put in it's proper perspective. We are committed to placing these spectacular and loving canines in educated, responsible and loving homes.
Noble Ones Bully Breed Rescue was founded by Jennifer and Javier Lopez together with Denielle Frisa in January of 2008 to form a powerful network of dedicated people to preserve and protect these often misunderstood breeds. The founders of NOBBR have over 20 years of experience and are proud owners of bully breeds. NOBBR is a small foster home based rescue that primary focus is dogs in high kill shelters. We believe that teamwork is essential in achieving our goals and we have a diverse group of motivated volunteers from various backgrounds who share our passion.
The Humane Society of Baltimore County was founded in 1927 to protect our region's pets and to address their suffering. Since inception, the Humane Society has strived to reach its potential and to achieve its mission. Over the years, we've adopted a set of tenets that represent our commitments to the pets that come into our care. All of our efforts are centered around one word... humane.
Second Chance Dog Rescue was founded by a group of volunteers who have dedicated their life to rescue dogs from shelters that would otherwise be euthanized and dogs from the community who’ve been surrendered by their owners. To ensure that pets in our care are healthy, comfortable, and loved until we can find a loving and responsible new forever home for them. To encourage responsible pet care, which includes, but is not limited to; spaying/neutering, vaccinations, education and veterinary care. To provide support and/or training to Second Chance Dog Rescue volunteers and to new pet owners. To establish support in the community from veterinary clinics, pet supply stores, groomers, fellow rescue groups and organizations, schools, dog food manufactures and so forth.
Heaven and Earth Animal Rescue Team is a nonprofit, all volunteer, limited admission rescue organization funded by private donations. We are committed to reducing the number of homeless and unwanted companion animals through education programs, spay and neuter programs, and the responsible re-homing of homeless and unwanted dogs and cats.
Max's Animal Rescue & Humane Society is a 501c3 not for profit organzation that surrives soley on the donations we receive. We are the only shelter in our county. We are here to provide care and shelter for homeless animals until they are placed into a loving and lifetime home We provide community awareness that instills the benefits of proper care and love for companion animals We provide all aspects of care to any animal in need that comes to our doors. We find loving lifetime homes for all our adoptable animals. We educate the public on importance of spay & neuter and the programs that are affordable and available. We have education and resource information to help promote responsible pet ownership
East Tennessee Bloodhound Rescue is located deep in the backwoods of Powell, Tennessee. We Rescue Bloodhounds simply because of our love of the breed. all donations go towards saving the lives of more and more Bloodhounds. All Of our dogs will go to approved homes only. When they are ready for their new homes all will be UTD on all shots and be Spayed/Neutered.
The purpose is simple: to help abused and homeless dogs, to work towards an end to the misery of euthanasia and to enable every dog to have a happy and loving forever home. Roxie's Fund was established in 2000 and was inspired by Cindy Vernasco's first Rottweiler, "Roxie". And it is this continued inspiration that keeps Roxie's Fund alive. The fund honors the unconditional love and happiness Roxie brought to the Vernasco home by helping abused and homeless animals.
I have been working with Rottweilers since 1981. I just plain and simple believe and love this breed. I use to breed this beautiful dog, till one day I went to a shelter, and realized no more. Since then, I have pulled from my state and neighboring states several rotts and have placed them in wonderful homes. I have worked on several humane cases in the past years, and are real familiar with any type of aggression and can work on issues the dogs may have. All these kids have come from local and out of state pounds which would have probably been euthanized. Please give them a second chance. Once they are posted on adoptapet , they have been evaluated and ready for their forever homes.
WY Rat Terriers Rescue is a not for profit volunteer run rescue. We strive to provide a safe, loving, home environment for Rat Terriers who are abandoned, abused, neglected, or homeless while they await a safe loving lifelong home of their own. We are committed to educating current and prospective owners on the special needs and temperament of Rat Terriers in order to promote responsible ownership and to prevent future displaced terriers.
Paws and Purrs Rescue, Inc. in Rochester, New York, is an all volunteer, not for profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of domestic animals. We will see to it that any animal we take in receives the needed medical attention and is placed in a loving foster home until they are adopted into a permanent home. We WILL NOT euthanize unless health issues necessitate such a decision. All of our animals are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations. Cats/kittens are combo tested for FIV and FeLV and dogs/puppies are treated for heartworm as needed.
Cross My Heart’s mission is to prevent the overcrowding of animal shelters in the greater Birmingham area of Alabama, where innocent dogs are routinely put to rest to make room for incoming strays. We concentrate on pulling dogs on death row at local shelters. It is each volunteer’s mission to rescue, provide sanctuary for and ultimately re-home these abandoned, abused and neglected dogs. Occasionally, we assist in providing temporary care for dogs of owners experiencing extenuating circumstances, causing them to be unable to care for their pets.
We are a special needs NO KILL animal rescue. We rescue special needs dogs from Kill Shelters Nationwide. We utilize special needs experienced foster homes across the country to help us save special needs dogs. The special needs dogs are then socialized, trained and given all the love and proper care they need to become a loving family member in their permanent new homes.
