The NFL is eating their young

What I observed over the last week really troubles me. The “talking heads” that represent the NFL are speaking out about Tim Tebow’s celebration when things for the Denver Broncos are going well. Sometimes, they are critical of Tim’s reactions when things are not going well.

Let’s analyze the reaction. “NFL talking heads” believe that Tim Tebows’ celebration that centers on his creator and religion is over the top. Many are asking that he “tone it down”.

OK. Is that the stance that the NFL and their talking heads want to take on Tim Tebow? Really? Where were the talking heads and the NFL when convict Vick rejoined the league? Where was the “outrage” of public demonstration when an animal abuser signed a multi-million dollar contract to rejoin the NFL?

Furthermore, where are the NFL and their talking heads when it comes to outrageous antics from those that score touchdowns and replicate a club shooting incident? Yes, such outtakes draw penalties but they fail to receive the outrage as much as a tribute to ones Religion does.

The latest to take this stance is Kurt Warner. I thought, through his own admission, he was the Christian point man for the NFL. Now he is asking Tim to “tone it down”?

Ladies and Gentleman, I love him NFL as much as you do. Double standards force me to fight back against those that exhibit such characteristics as hypocrites.

For the NFL to welcome back a convicted felon that admitted the abuse that he has committed, then to criticize a person that is playing pure and within his faith and beliefs should show us all where the League stands. It should also show us where the NFL’s true heart is at. I love football and the NFL. I just wish there were honest and integrity built in to the system.

Welcome back to the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Season 3! Week 7 is in the books and we are ready to give away FREE VICK DOG CHEW TOYS!

The Eagles and the hated Vick were off this week licking their wounds and Vick was doing NOTHING to help heal what he started! What a probation stint, huh? Visit a few bull shit places, give a non feeling apology, get reinstated by the NFL, picked up by the Eagles and POW! Millions back into your account. I can only hope that his day will come.

I also hear some news about Vick being “mistreated” by other players in the NFL and officials not calling the hits illegal as they would if it was any other QB. Perhaps the hatred for what Vick did has NFL players angered as well? Officials also? ESPN commentators, whom I normally like, treat it as a racial issue. No one in the major media wants to accept and acknowledge what this man did. Willingly and deliberately. No one in the major media wants to admit that there are ramifications for actions and maybe, just maybe Vick is not the man he claims to be and not the human that we want to root for.

These people need to get with it and understand that we as a society of animal lovers and people that believe there should be ramifications for actions DO UNDERSTAND. That is the spirit behind The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy and why it still exists today. It is because WE, lovers of animals and believers of actions bear ramifications believe that there is STILL a need and an outcry! We see it daily.

I will quit my rant. On to week 7 of The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Bark For Awareness Giveaway, Season 3! Because the Eagles were off we cannot award FREE toys based on scores against the Eagles. Vick Chew Toy – BFA3 Week 6 Winners

Welcome back to the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Season 3! Week 6 is in the books and we are ready to give away FREE VICK DOG CHEW TOYS!

Week 6 pitted (pardon the pun) MY REDSKINS vs. the EVIL Vick. A rematch of the embarrassing loss last year that had my Skins hanging their heads in shame. Would it be different this year? NOPE! Although we were not embarrassed, the evil Vick monster took the victory against the good guys.

Although my Skins lost an opportunity to place a battered and bruised Vick on the canvas for good, more teams are waiting in the wings. Goodness will prevail and we are starting to see the real Vick. Complaints about unfair treatment by refs, REALLY? Where did Vick fall when he was faced with unfair treatment of beloved animals? Two words: PLEA and REINSTATEMENT! I say that karma is coming back and karma is a BITCH!

Now, on to our Bark For Awareness week 6 results. I am astonished and pleased to announce first times ever TIE! Two GREAT ORGANIZATIONS actually tied with 18% of the vote each.
