Welcome Back Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Fans! I apologize for the week 11 layoff. I have been traveling a bit and locked into a hotel in Pennsylvania (of all places) that had an internet connection equivalent to 1998 dial up! It took me four hours each night just to ensure our orders were shipped.
There is so much to say about the current affairs of our hated Vick. He hasn’t played in 3 weeks due to much deserved injuries. Many have asked me if the lack of playing time by Vick hurts our ability to continue to raise awareness. Quite frankly, it has NOT. But why?
I can only answer it this way: we as a society are willing to give most a second chance. But we are also instinctively attuned to those that deserve of a second chance. When one is given and when one is not deserved or earned, we are also instinctively attunded to take that offer back.
When Vick got his plea, showed little to no remorse for what he had done, then signed a multi-million dollar deal to play in the NFL with the Eagles, those of us that love and care for abused and neglected pets were handed a second blow to the face. It is now that second blow that we are fighting back against.
The Eagles and Vick were supposed to be the dream team. Win it all. Now that we, as pet lovers, owners and care takers see the true justice that is being handed down we are as energized as ever! You see, pet lovers know the real truth because we know the love of pets goes well beyond what anyone can attest. In that love, we also know that those who seek harm and pursue damage to defenseless, loving animals join the ranks of the worst in society. Vick and the Eagles, your season is over, your dream team is over and all of those that support The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy and all we do will continue to rise up and keep you on notice! You cannot escape through a plea, a half ass apology, or an NFL helmet.
Now, on to the FREE Official Vick Dog Chew Toys! We have two weeks to cover, so let’s get to it. Week 11 saw an increase in votes, but many organizations that are barely meeting our minimum requirement. Please use your involvement in the Bark For Awareness Giveaway to rally support for your great work!
Week 11 winner, taking 35% of the votes is:
The Humane Society of Houston County! Here is a little bit of information about this great Organization:
HSHoCo is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving Houston County. We will educate the public on the importance of spaying & neutering, micro-chipping and responsible pet care. Through volunteer networks we will provide foster care programs. We will offer adoptions and encourage a community No Kill Plan. In the near future, we plan to expand our abilities with a shelter, and hopefully, an area for spay/neuter and treatment.
Congratulations to Humane Society of Houston County! As a result of their vote total and the Patriots 4 TD’s against the Eagles I am pleased to send 4 FREE Offical Vick Dog Chew Toy’s to our week 11 winner!
