Who created the Vick Chew Toy?

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Aim To Beginn, LLC is the ORIGINAL concept inventor and supplier of the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy. We began our journey back in August of 2007. Our original mission was to create a product that would raise and sustain awareness of animal abuse and allow us to utilize our product as a financial source to give back to animal support organizations that share our same vision and mission. Through YOUR support of our products, you have assisted us in continuing with our original mission and vision. Our products, both the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy and Dog Life Gear, have been extremely popular and continue to gain in notoriety. This has allowed Aim To Beginn, LLC to continue our original mission and continue to give back like never before.

Aim To Beginn, LLC is thankful of the team of very committed and motivated individuals that are both animal lovers and football fans. We have been fortunate enough to build a long lasting company that allows us to enjoy both. The reward for our many long nights, struggles sustaining our mission, and the relentless pursuit, comes from the support of our loyal fans and those that have purchased our products. It is YOU that has allowed this to flourish and help continue the awareness. It sounds cliché, but the comments, interest, pictures, and stories for all of you and your dogs are all the motivation we need.

Based on the enormous interest and popularity of our products, Aim To Beginn, LLC is telling all. Through our blog, The Official Dog Blog, we are sharing the true story as told by the original concept inventory. By popular demand of loyal customers from the USA to Canada, from the UK to Iraq, from Afghanistan to Mexico, the Official Story of the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy is being told. Will this lead to a book and even more donations? We will let your readers and customers decide that.

Many have asked how we created this product and how this endeavor surfaced and became reality. The simple answer is we were motivated, frustrated, appalled, and taken over by a self proposed call of duty to make a difference. That is how The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy came to life and that is why it continues to go strong more than 2 years after being announced to the public.

Aim To Beginn, LLC is proud of our achievements and very proud of the public reaction to our efforts.

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Week 17 of the NFL season is officially in the books, and so is week 17 of The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Bark For Awareness Give Away!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the NFL regular season has come to an end! What a season it was! If your favorite team is in the playoffs, CONGRATULATIONS! If your team is not, take it from a die hard Redskins fan, next year is YOURS!

Let’s talk a bit about the year long Official Bark For Awareness Give Away! Aim To Beginn, LLC, the original and only producers of the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy has had a fantastic year and enjoyed every opportunity to help raise awareness and give back through our Official Dog Product! We began the year with just 4 participants. We end the year with SIXTEEN qualified organizations entered in The Bark For Awareness Give Away. Your participation and interest has exceeded all expectations! Aim To Beginn thanks everyone that has entered and cast votes in our contest. We would not be doing this if not for you!

Let’s also take a moment to recognize the GREAT Organizations that have contributed to The Bark For Awareness Give Away:

You each share a special goal. You each inspire us and are a fantastic representation of what many other organizations do each and every day. We are inspired and energized by your efforts!

I am torn as to where we go next, so let’s talk about week 17 of the Eagles season. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. Prior to kick off, we heard that Michael Vick would plan and that there would be a great deal of importance placed on the Eagles vs. Cowboys finale. Well, someone forgot to tell the Eagles players that there was a game on. The Eagles lost, and were SHUT OUT! As you know, the Official Vick Dog Chew Toys are given away based on each TD scored by the Eagles and / or Michael Vick. It actually took my marketing partner 12 minutes to determine that if it was a shut out, that meant no TD’s scored, which means that no Official Vick Dog Chew Toy’s would be given out. In accordance to The Bark For Awareness Give Away, that is correct. However, in the spirit of giving back and raising awareness, which is the motto of the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy, no FREE dogs is no way to end a fantastic season. So, we went to the vault and determined that 3 FREE Official Vick Dog Chew Toys should be presented regardless of the ZERO that the Eagles put up.

Now, on to the winner: Once again a top winner and THE top vote getter won the vote contest. Carolina Care Bullies took 49% of the vote and won week 17, final regular season, of The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Bark For Awareness Give Away! Congratulations!

So, is that it? We can’t end it now, can we? The Eagles are in the playoffs, playing next Saturday. There are plenty of games to be played. Including the Pro Bowl and the Super bowl. So, what is the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy going to do for these three events?

Two words: GAME ON!

Wild card and playoff specials. Pro Bowl and Super bowl specials. Special offers, special giveaways. Simply put: more FREE Official Vick Dog Chew Toys will be available than ever before! However, you have to stay tuned to this blog in order to get the details! PLEASE continue to tune in! Next announcement is Wednesday January 6, 2010!

Thanks for your interest and participation!

Official Dog Blog – Entry 2 of The Split

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

I appreciate your interest in my story.

All involved with The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy at this stage thought that we were all working in lock step. Everyone, including our Manufacturer and myself, thought that the goal was clear. This is where we messed up.

Earlier in my blog entries you will remember the fund holding plan that was developed. You will also remember in that entry that trust was something that we thought was formed. It was at this time that funds were due to our new manufacturer in order to pay for cast costs, mold cost, initial product development, shipping and handling fees. The money was available through the initial orders received. That money was locked in a Paypal account in the name of the rogue employee.

That was the big mistake that presented itself at this point.

By denying that individual the right to produce a product that fell short of the product originally advertised, by denying that individual the right to sell cheaply made products that garnished our logo, by denying that individual the right to pursue another manufacturer and intentionally disrespect and compromise the relationship we had built with the company that provided us critical mold time and guaranteed the safety of our product, I unintentionally drove a divide with the person that held the account that held all our funds.

My integrity, the values I had developed regarding The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy and the operational mission we had all agreed to in regards to how we would operate as a company was all the reasons why we lost the rogue partner and subsequently lost all the funds.

Losing the funds of those that paid for our product was concerning, disappointing, and extremely disturbing to me. The reasons why we lost the rogue partner from our organization and partnership was not.

What comes next is extremely interesting.

I appreciate your interest in my story.
