Vick Chew Toy

I want to celebrate the Spirit of the Season by wishing everyone Happy Holiday’s and a very prosperous New Year! I also want to thank everyone for their support of the effort of The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy.

In this edition I want to reflect back a bit. I will tell you why at the end of this message. The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy was born through events that I personally never would have been involved with. Animal abuse was never a part of my life. I have never witnessed it or been involved with it at any level. I have adopted pets from shelters, but in doing so simply thought it was someone’s loss and my gain.

When I was thrust into this situation I did so through an absolute unbelievable occurrence that I personally thought was an exception to the human rules that we all follow. Through my work with The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy I have grown to understand, to much dismay and disappointment, that although the acts of Vick and his people were extreme they are an unfortunate part of our society.

This leads me to the challenge that I set forth with The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy. Via symbolic reference, WE were all able to keep the visibility and outrage alive. For me personally, I have been privileged to learn about and meet so many people that give SO MUCH to care for neglected and abused animals. There is a network out there, one that I sincerely hope that I have helped to enhance, that give unconditional devotional caring for those pets that no one wants. To just be involved in their efforts makes me truly blessed.

My Team of 1 and I have been able to give away thousands of Official Vick Dog Chew Toys while continuing to cover cost and manage debt. From what I have been told, hundreds of worthy organizations have been able to do the same through a simple yet effective Product. This is a tribute to ALL that have purchased. I sincerely THANK each one of you.

In conclusion, I told you at the start that I would tell you why this is a moment of reflection. Our inventory is running low and there are no plans to reproduce The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy. At this moment this is the last Holiday Season that we will have our product to offer. While I will still stay connected to the great organizations that I have been affiliated with, The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy will soon be a product of the past.

I sincerely thank each and every person for their support. We will continue to serve until the last Official Vick Dog Chew Toy is gone. I appreciate your continued support.

Now, on to the winner of The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Bark For Awareness Campaign, week 15! Taking 45% of the votes this week’s winner is: BULLY WAG! Here is some information about Bully Wag and their great efforts:

BullyWag, Inc. began as mother and daughter wanting to do more to help change some peoples opinion of pit bull-type dogs. As time progressed, we became disappointed and frustrated with the huge numbers of pit bull-type dogs (or dogs that look like pit bull-type dogs) being euthanized in the state of Georgia.

Our purchase winner for this week is Stephanie from RI! Stephanie purchased her Official Vick Dog Chew Toy on 12/17/11. For their efforts Bully Wag will receive 3 FREE Official Vick Dog Chew Toys and Stephanie will receive 1 FREE toy.

Thanks for all you do.

Vick Chew Toy - Pet Organization Support

http://www.vickchewtoy.com

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving Holiday!

Now that we have moved on from last Thursday on to the “official” Holiday shopping season I was recently reminded of a ground roots movement that surfaced again this year. Several messages have been launched about support for local businesses, especially those that do business over the internet. Sunday is the kick off to “cyber week”, a time where online orders are prompted and promoted.

I love the message about supporting local business. However, I want to encourage an expansion on the message. I would like to promote that all also consider support for local and national organizations that care for our neglected and abused pets.

Along with support of local small business merchants we must also consider organizations that do not sell, but rather support. There are thousands of them out there, many that we have helped recognize and support through our Bark For Awareness Campaign and other efforts. Small donations are so very valued by your local pet rescue groups and donations often make or break their ability to perform the valued services that they do each and every day.

As you make your Holiday shopping plans, I encourage you to keep your local pet organization in mind. If you can purchase from a local small business, please do. If you can donate to a local small organization, please do! A bag of food, a small cash donation, anything you can help with will help these great organizations to continue their service to your community.

As always, The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy will continue to promote and support these great organizations and celebrate those that help us give back. Please help us to continue to raise awareness of the impacts animal abuse and neglect pose to our beloved pets and do what you can to continue your support.

I want to thank our loyal followers for your 4th year of support for The Official Vick Dog Chew Toy. We continue our efforts through the unyielding love and dedication of Pet Lovers everywhere! Please continue to show your support.

Thanks for all you do.

Vick Chew Toy BFA3 Winner Week 11

Saturday, November 26th, 2011

Welcome back to the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Season 3! Week 11 is in the books and we are ready to give away FREE VICK DOG CHEW TOYS!

I have a severe problem! I am sitting here watching the Eagles play the Giants and I do not see VICK? Why? Is he hurt? Since when is he allowed to sit on the sidelines HURT?

When Vick was abusing his dogs did he allow those that were hurt to take the day off? When his dogs were abused and in pain did he allow them to sit on the sidelines? HELL NO! He insisted that they continue, regardless of the pain or injuries sustained. So why don’t the Eagles and the NFL insist that Vick play hurt?

Bad ribs? Go in anyway. Hurt body? Go in anyway. Isn’t that the precedent that Vick set for his “pets”? Why isn’t Vick and the Eagles willing to play by the rules that VICK set as he abused and imposed upon his own “fighters”? Is Vick not a fighter?

Vick is a wuss, one that will not stand by standards and expectations that he imposed on those that “worked” for him. Vick is a coward of the ultimate sense. Those of us that have opposed him have always known this. Now we are seeing it. We are witnessing a “dream team” led by a convicted felon, an immoral human being and we are seeing how karma can truly be a bitch.

I am sorry that Vick is not in the game right now; taking his much deserved desert of abuse. Life and the way you treat others will certainly come back on you twice served. My prediction is that Vick will never amount to the athlete he could have been and it is all a result of the lack of character that he has willingly adopted. I love to watch the fall only because the resurgence was so unjustly due.

Now, on to week 11 winner for THE BARK FOR AWARENESS WEEK 11 WINNER! This week, taking home 39% of the vote is our winner, All Breeds K9 Training Center! Here is a little information about All Breeds:

The Giants were only able to score 1 TD against the Eagles in week 11. But WE are not willing to let that stand. TWO FREE Official Vick Dog Chew Toys are going to give All Breeds TWO FREE Official Vick Dog Chew Toys for their efforts.

On to our purchase winner! This week Aaron of Tyler, TX is our winner. Aaron purchased his Official Vick Dog Chew Toy on 11/15/11. Please join me in congratulating Aaron for his additional FREE Official Vick Dog Chew Toy!
