Why in the heck am I excited about week 11 of the NFL season? It is definitely not because of my Redskins’ performance. I am excited because week 11 was the closest week yet! The winner was determined by ONE PERCENTAGE POINT! On top of that the voting is increasing and so is the awareness.
I love it! I love the attention you bring, the commitment to voting, and I am very proud of all the contestants that we have in the contest. When we set up this weekly giveaway this is exactly what we envisioned. Committed organizations helping to get out the word to raise awareness and help generate attention and funds so that each great group could continue the efforts to give back. Awesome!
So which organization squeaked out the win in week 11? I am proud to announce that not only was it the closest win thus far, but it was also the first win for Atlanta Bully Rally! A total of 188 votes were cast for Atlanta Bully Rally and that was just enough to get them over the top! Congratulations.
The Eagles scored 3 touchdowns in week 11. Although the Eagles were able to beat the once mighty Bears, Mike Vick once again failed to help out the effort. Is karma in play? We have yet to send two Official Vick Dog Chew Toys out for a Vick TD. Dogs have sniffed many more hydrants than Vick has sniffed goal lines of late. Could this be a case of, “what comes around goes around”? We shall see……
Week 12 is next. The Eagles are still in the mix for a potential playoff spot. If that is the case, the Official Vick Dog Chew Toy Bark For Awareness Campaign will also make a playoff run. The contest will continue as long as the Eagles have games to play.
